Hakodate Motomachi Hotel

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels I've been to. The amenities were great, especially the hot bath which was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the city center and the seafood market.

The hotel wasn't aesthetically pleasing, but it was very quirky and had interesting interior design with exposed concrete walls. The staffs’ English was limited, which made communication a bit difficult.

so close to a bus stop, so we travelled a lot. this hotel was in a shopping area.

I enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location near a tram station, making transportation around this city hassle-free. Cleanliness was also a highlight, as the rooms and facilities were all kept in great condition. Breakfast was a fantastic option, with a choice between a set meal in the hotel's cafe or a voucher for a morning market eatery near the train station. Lastly, the staff were helpful with providing advice on how to spend the rest of my evening after check-in.

No complaints.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled near the train station and shopping area, with the bonus of being adjacent to the waterfront. Its location makes exploring the city a breeze, especially since it is very near the train station. The convenience of the streetcar/tram being accessible from the hotel is an added bonus for getting around.

All was well, nothing to improve.

We stayed at a hotel that was conveniently situated within walking distance of the shopping area adjacent to the waterfront and close to a tram stop. the staff was friendly and helpful in providing advice on the area. the room was decent, clean, and well-maintained. the breakfast offered a good variety of food to choose from.

The public bath was a bit small and not as relaxing as we had hoped.
